Foreigners call verdict a violation of human rights
NEW DELHI: Foreigners in the capital also joined in the protest against the Supreme Court verdict at Jantar Mantar on Sunday. They called the verdict re-criminalizing homosexuality a violation of human rights.
"India is going back in time. As human beings, we deserve equality and it is shocking to have a law that neglects the rights of a certain population," said Neil (Ireland) and Juan (Spain), a gay couple living in Delhi.
