Sonakshi set to drag her buddy Salman to the interiors of Bihar

The debutante is coaxing her senior co-star to make a trip to the badlands to promote Dabangg. Incidentally, her daddy Shotgun Sinha is leaving absolutely no stone unturned as far as the security arrangements of the visit are concerned

So what if Dabangg could not be shot in Bihar where the drama and action are actually set? Now that the film is ready Salman is all set to visit Bihar for the first time at the insistence of his co-star Sonakshi and her father Shatrughan Sinha. In the state Salman’s fan following is so large that Salman’s security bandobast has always been a worry every time a visit is planned.

This time Sonakshi’s dad, who is an MP from Patna, will make all the arrangements to ensure complete and foolproof security for his daughter’s co-star’s visit to Bihar.

Producer Arbaaz Khan confirms that Salman’s visit to the boondocks are being planned for Dabangg. “I want to take Salman to places where he hasn’t been before. For the promotion of his other films he hardly has time to travel to non-metropolitan cities. But this time Salman is setting aside 20 days to travel to the Northern interiors for Dabangg. He will be going to the smaller towns, places where his fan base has never had access to him.”

Bihar holds a special significance for Dabangg. Not only is the film set in the state, but the film’s leading lady is also half-Bihari. No wonder Sonakshi is so kicked about Salman jaunting through Bihar!
