Lobo Fans Help Disadvantaged Kids

Some fans who cheered on the Lobos on selection Sunday are geared up and ready to make the trip to San Jose for the big game.

Don Davalos and his son Joel hopped on the 'Tix for kids' bus on Wednesday night to go see the Lobos play on Thursday.

He was one of the 30 fans who paid $500 to ride the bus. The profit will go toward helping disadvantaged kids.

"It just makes it easier to make this decision. I just want to have special times with my son and this is an opportunity," said Davalos.

The 'Tix for kids' bus made the same trip to the Mountain West Conference Tournament last week and raised $6,000 for the kids.
