人權學堂成立於2009年11月19日─
 
我們有一個願望，所有人都能在維護人的尊嚴並且相互包容的和諧社會中，

維護人權，實踐人權；

我們有一個願望，所有人都能在永續開放的社會中

學習人權，創新人權；

我們有一個願望，所有人都能在相互理解、彼此關懷的人權都市中，

奉獻人權，享受人權；
謹此，紀念美麗島事件30周年暨2009聯合國人權學習年。
